Project Description
The administrative and commercial center of Roman Thessaloniki. The forum was organized around a huge square. Two floor arcades were standing around the square, housing commercial stores.
The forum was discovered when the location was excavated to put the foundations of the planned Court. The curator in charge gave a battle to manage to stop the building process and offer the city the biggest archaeological site in its center.
